Combi boiler PID Logic Kombi – Perfect combination of wood and pellet heating

The PID Logic Combi is a state-of-the-art combi boiler for the simultaneous use of logs and wood pellets. With an impressive nominal heat output of 25, 35, or 45 kW, this boiler is ideal for small to medium-sized buildings. The innovative touch control, precise lambda probe, and an efficiency of over 93% make the PID Logic Combi an economical and environmentally friendly heating solution.

Efficient wood gasification: clean and durable

The wood gasification principle ensures almost complete combustion of the fuel. The spacious combustion chamber on the left side of the boiler allows for logs up to 500 mm long. A single log load burns for at least 4 hours at full power and can be extended to an entire day at lower loads. Logs should have a maximum moisture content of 20% for optimal results.

The two-stage wood gasification process reduces emissions and maximizes the energy of the fuel. This protects the environment and significantly reduces fuel consumption.

Advanced pellet combustion

Pellet combustion takes place in the separate right-hand boiler section. An integrated storage hopper allows for practical and space-saving pellet storage (80 liters for 25 kW, 148 liters for 35/45 kW). Automatic pellet refilling from an external storage area via a suction or conveyor system is also possible.

Wood pellets are an environmentally friendly fuel made from natural wood chips. They are subject to strict quality standards (DINplus or ENplus A1), thus ensuring efficient and clean combustion.

Automatic switching between wood and pellets

The PID Logic Combi can automatically switch between fuel types. When the stored logs are used up, the pellet burner seamlessly takes over heating. However, this automatic switch only occurs from wood to pellet combustion. This ensures a continuous heat supply without the need for manual intervention.

Comfortable control and easy handling

The integrated control panel with color touchscreen offers maximum ease of use and controls all boiler functions. The lambda probe continuously measures the oxygen content of the flue gases and regulates the primary and secondary air supply to ensure optimal combustion with both wood and pellets.

Additional features such as a flue gas temperature sensor and automatic grate cleaning increase efficiency and ease of use. The large combustion chamber loading door facilitates adding wood, while easy cleaning through the lower door minimizes maintenance.

Reliability and security features

The PID Logic Combi is equipped with several safety features. A built-in safety temperature limiter (STB) immediately shuts down the boiler at a temperature of 95°C, while a safety heat exchanger effectively cools the combustion chamber with fresh water. Additionally, a thermal discharge safety device ensures maximum operational safety.

Even in the event of a power failure, important safety mechanisms remain active so that the boiler functions reliably in every situation.

Economical and environmentally friendly

An efficiency of over 93% and the ability to efficiently use logs and pellets make the PID Logic Kombi one of the most economical heating solutions on the market.The pyrolytic combustion of wood saves more than 85% of fuel compared to conventional wood boilers.

Thanks to its extremely low emissions, the PID Logic Kombi meets the highest boiler class 5 according to EN 303-5:2012 and the requirements of BImSchV Stage 2. This means that it is not only economical but also ecologically sound.

Flexible expansion options

The PID Logic Kombi can be expanded with various optional modules. These include a GSM alarm module and control modules for up to eight heating circuits, which can be regulated according to the outside or room temperature. The pellet supply can also be optimally adapted using a pellet suction system, a screw conveyor, or a large storage hopper.

Technical details and connection options

The boiler is available in 25, 35, and 45 kW outputs and features standardized connections for flow, return, and drain. The flue gas outlet diameter varies between 150 mm and 180 mm depending on the output. All components are manufactured and tested to the highest quality standards, including TÜV and CE certification.
